Investigators believed Cesar caused injuries to the victim's head, chest, back, and hands over several hours and prevented him from leaving.
Court documents say blood spatter was found in several rooms of the house, with the other children living in the home being directed to clean it up.
According to an affidavit obtained by 28/22 News, Cesar lashed out after hearing troubling accusations about the victim.
Both Virginia and Cesar remain in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility after being denied bail.
