Eight charged with selling large amounts of drugs across Pa.

(WBRE/WYOU) — A group of eight who conspired to sell large amounts of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and other various drugs is now facing several charges, police stated.

According to Acting United States Attorney John Gurganus, the following eight people were indicted by a federal grand jury on drug trafficking charges and firearm offenses:

Marvin Rivera, a/k/a “Mace,” 26, of Allentown

Oliver Rivera, 31, of Drums

Mark Reynolds, 57, of Wilkes-Barre

Sherrielee Stout, 32, of Plymouth

Chandler George, 34, of Allentown

Angela Ruggiero, 42, of Hazleton,

Joel Fernandez, 34, of Wilkes-Barre

Eric Konnick, 41, of Edwardsville

Investigators stated that between January 2025 and July 2025, the eight charged conspired todistribute large quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, benzodiazepines, andmarijuana within Luzerne County and elsewhere.

Detectives executed search warrants at locations where the drug activities of the suspects occurred. On July 30, authorities say they seized 71 pounds of methamphetamine, over 2 kilograms of fentanyl, 2 kilograms of cocaine, marijuana, and benzodiazepines, as well as multiple firearms.

The street value for the drugs is around $600,000.

The maximum penalty is imprisonment for life, a term of supervised release, and a fine
