PLAINS TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The ramp from State Route 115 Northbound to Interstate 81 Northbound in Plains Township is closed and will remain closed until November 2026.
According to PennDOT, the ramp closure is required to realign the existing ramp and to construct a new ramp that will directly connect State Route 115 Northbound to Interstate 81 Southbound.

As a result of the ramp closure, the following detour is placed:
Drivers will take State Route 115 Northbound to State Route 309/115, Exit 2 (Wilkes-Barre Center City)
At the bottom of the Exit 2 ramp, take a left to the on ramp for State Route 309/115 Southbound
Continue on State Route 309/115 Southbound to the Interstate 81 Northbound on ramp
