SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Changes are coming to how the city of Scranton operates its parking system. Community Development Properties Scranton, Inc. has finalized a bond restructuring for the city.
Beginning on Monday, August 18, on-street parking enforcement hours will now run Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Storm causes flooding in Wilkes-Barre homes
A 5% processing fee for parking payments made by card will also begin.
Officials say refinancing strengthens the financial stability of the system and supports continued investment in parking infrastructure, technology, and service.
