The Elements Music Festival was held at the Pocono International Raceway from August 8 through the weekend until August 11. The Pocono Mountain Regional Police said they had a four-day law enforcement plan to prepare for the event.
Police say as a result of the enforcement, a total of 25 people were charged with various offenses, including DUI, drug possession, wanted warrants for arrest, fake IDs, and resisting arrest.

On the last day of the festival, detectives stated a 30-year-old man was transported from the Elements Festival to Lehigh Valley Pocono, where he was pronounced dead. That investigation into his death is still active and ongoing.
Police noted their mission for the enforcement was to mitigate dangerous drug usage, to, in turn, minimize overdoses and medical emergencies.
