TAMAQUA, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say a man is facing multiple felony charges after a pipe bomb explosion outside a Schuylkill County bar.
Officers say 37-year-old Adam Basham set off a mortar firework outside Mundy's pub on Cedar Street in Tamaqua on the Fourth of July.

Police stated he placed the firework inside a steel smoking receptacle, sending shrapnel flying up to 20 feet.
Court documents report that a large piece of metal pierced his leg. The blast also damaged a nearby home.
