SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Severe flash flooding bogged down much of Lackawanna County on Wednesday afternoon.
That flooding hit mostly in lower-lying areas, impacting many homes and roads.
Act Out Theatre Group on South Main Street in Taylor has been in this location since 2022.
Storm causes flooding in Wilkes-Barre homes
The owner says they dealt with regular flooding at their old location in Dunmore, but never here.
Inside, at least an inch of water covered the floor, damaging carpets, costumes, and other equipment.
They're now working to air out the space and clean up the mess.
