WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — In Luzerne County, the storm is causing flooding to homes in Wilkes-Barre.
Fire Chief Jay Delaney says about 30 homes are being inspected, and water was pumped from basements on Horton Street in Wilkes-Barre.

Crews in the area are also monitoring the Horton Street sinkhole that opened up as a result of bad storms back in June, after it took on a considerable amount of water.
28/22 News was told the gas was shut off in the area, and there is no word at this time on when it will be turned back on.
