DALLAS TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A police standoff that closed roadways ended peacefully Thursday.
Dallas Township Police stated they were dispatched to a residence on Lake Street for a reported domestic incident.
Reward offered for 5-year-old unsolved homicide
Investigators say a female suspect allegedly assaulted a man on Wednesday night. The man contacted police once he was able to leave the residence and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The woman barricaded herself inside the residence, officers reported. Police say they attempted to make contact with her, but she refused to come out.
Lake Street was closed between College Manor and Elmcrest as a precaution, but reopened around 4:45 p.m.
