WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A large police presence could be seen in Wilkes-Barre Friday morning after a man was found bleeding outside an apartment building in the city's North End.

Multiple police units, along with crime scene tape, were seen surrounding a house on North Washington Street near Elm Street.
Luzerne County District Attorney Sam Sanguedolce says police and medics were called to the home around 5:30 a.m. for a man outside who was bleeding. The man was in the care city medics when police arrived.
Sanguedolce says police saw blood on the steps and what appeared to be evidence of a struggle.
"The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Lieutenant Matt Stash or any of the Wilkes-Barre City detectives at 570-826-0911," Sanguedolce added.
There is no information on the man's condition or what led to the incident.
