BUTLER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Part of Interstate 80 was shut down after a multi-vehicle crash on Sunday.
Officials explained that it happened around 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the Eastbound lanes near mile marker 265 in Butler Township, Luzerne County.

The wreck left all lanes of I-80 Eastbound shut down between exit 262, the PA 309 Hazleton/Mountain Top interchange, and exit 273, the PA 940/PA 437 White Haven/Freeland exit.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says the road is now back open.
