Students from kindergarten to fifth grade were able to take advantage of the resources available.
Haircuts, backpacks, and other school supplies were provided free.
"These events really warm my heart because it's about community and bringing everyone together, so our students and our families see as a school, we're here for you to support you beyond your children's academics, cause we are a community, it is an effort. And then all of the organizations that are here that wanna support our families," McNichols Plaza Principal Mina Ardestani said.
The event hopes to help families in need and get students excited for the upcoming school year.
