Passenger killed after multi-vehicle crash on I-80

DENNISON TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A passenger inside a car involved in a multi-vehicle crash on I-80 Sunday has died.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, on August 17, around 8:30 p.m., troopers were called to Interstate 80 Eastbound in Dennison Township for a multi-vehicle crash.

Police say one vehicle was traveling off the roadway when it hit a second car that was parked on the shoulder. After impacting the second car, the first vehicle traveled through the lanes, leading to a tractor-trailer collision.

Motorcycle rider dies after collision with vehicle

Multiple people involved were seriously injured and a passenger in the second car, Amode Quadik Allen, died from his injuries, PSP reported.

I-80 Eastbound near mile marker 265.8 was closed for about 5 hours.
