WILKES-BARRE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is facing charges after police say he performed a lewd act at a business and assaulted the owner who tried to stop him.
According to the Wilkes-Barre Township Police Department, 25-year-old Kobe Quinell Thomas was reported to be performing a "lewd act" inside a business on August 19, around 9:00 p.m.
Multiple shots fired during road rage incident with tractor-trailer
Police say that when the owner confronted Thomas, he assaulted her, stole her cell phone, and fled the scene in a Toyota Camry.
On August 20, Thomas' car was found, and he was arrested on charges of robbery and other related offenses.
