HANOVER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A spokesperson from PA American Water released a statement saying that repairs are expected to be made to a water main break by midnight on Friday.
Repairs continue on the broken 24-inch pipe on St. Mary's Road that is expected to be completed by midnight with services being restored to the 20 impacted customers.
The Hanover Township Police Department stated that West Saint Mary's Road would be closed to all traffic on Thursday.

The road is closed from Sans Souci Parkway to Lee Park Avenue and will be inaccessible to all adjoining streets in the area, including Leuder Street, Sively Street, Inman Avenue, and Boland Avenue.
The Hanover Township Police ask drivers to use alternate routes until further notice.
PA American Water states that they will additional crews working throughout the night to flush hydrants and clear any discoloration that remains in the system.
Officials state that road restoration will begin once all repairs are complete.
