Woman sentenced after assault of pregnant woman

LOCK HAVEN, CLINTON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman who allegedly assaulted a pregnant woman in Clinton County has been sentenced on charges of aggravated assault of an unborn child.

21-year-old Hailey Gillott of Lock Haven allegedly assaulted a 19-year-old pregnant woman in Hoberman Park back in April.

Two juvenile female co-conspirators were also arrested in connection with the incident.

Gillott was sentenced on Tuesday for the assault and six other criminal cases.

According to the judge, the Lock Haven City Police stated that they had responded to at least 39 separate calls involving Gillott over the years preceding her arrest.

Gillot has been charged with:

Aggravated assault of an unborn child

Intimidation of witnesses

Animal neglect

Terroristic threats

False reports to law enforcement

Theft

Criminal trespass

The judge imposed a maximum sentence of 14 years with the possibility of parole four and a half years.
