HANOVER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Business is resuming as normal in Hanover Township after a water main break on Thursday.
A 24-inch water main break on Thursday closed down West Saint Mary's Road, a main road in the township.

The break caused the cancellation of Hanover Area School District's Thursday night pep rally.
Pennsylvania American Water says the break was repaired overnight into Friday. 28/22 News found crews on scene Friday working on repaving the road.
Hanover Area School District will still host their football game at the newly refurbished football complex Friday night now that the break is repaired.
