PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — It would not be Tomato Festival weekend without the big parade. The annual celebratory spectacle stepped off in Downtown Pittston right after the 5K event.
The parade has been a part of the Pittston Tomato Festival since the very beginning in 1984.
Once again, it did not disappoint, bringing out a huge crowd lining the streets to take in the sights and sounds.

"Oh, it's great. It's a great feeling. We're having fun. The kids are having fun. The parade is nice," Pittson resident Norma Magon said.
"And it really is a celebration of community, and I think that's what separates all of our events from other events," Festival Co-Chair and Pittston Mayor Michael Lombardo told 28/22 News.
You really couldn't ask for better weather for the tomato festival parade.
