LAKE ARIEL, WAYNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A fire in Wayne County destroyed a mobile home early Saturday morning.
Firefighters say crews were called to 1314 Easton Turnpike around 1 a.m. Saturday morning. Firefighters from Lake Ariel, Seelysville, Waymart, Maplewood, and Madisonville responded to the call.
Woman dies in UTV crash in Wyoming County
The fire was extensive, and crews say the building was a total loss. According to firefighters, the blaze took about two and a half hours to extinguish.
No injuries were reported, and the building was unoccupied. Officials say no one has lived in the mobile home for about a year.
Fire marshals are still investigating what caused the fire. Officials say no electricity was active in the building.
