PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — One of the busiest days of the four-day Pittston Tomato Festival is still going strong on Saturday.
More than 200 runners got the day started in Center City for the Annual Pittston Tomato Festival 5K Walk and Race.
The course took participants to and from Downtown Pittston with some hills in between.

The race has become a popular part of the festival, attracting runners from all over northeastern and central Pennsylvania, and even in states as far as Illinois.
"I'm excited, excited. You know, it feels good to be doing this at a high level still even after all of these years, so," Mayfield Runner Nick Liuzzo said.
"I don't think you have to be [a] runner to do this. You can walk and that's fun, too. So more people should try this," Yun Preston, a runner from Duryea, said.
Proceeds from the Pittston Tomato Festival 5k benefits various charities throughout the community.
