WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Baseball fans and the community came together in Williamsport.
Williamsport Welcomes the World featured live music kids zones full of fun and free activities, along with various food and merchandise vendors.
This was the 14th annual Williamsport Welcomes the World celebration with over 20,000 people coming out to support the town and celebrate the Little League World Series.

"It's a great experience every time because you get to meet new people and meet new teams," said Matteo Pandolfini, New Jersey.
"I'm just really looking forward to seeing who is going to come out on top," expressed Liam Roan, Lyndon, PA.
Williamsport Welcomes the World wrapped up around 9:00 p.m. Friday, but is held on the Friday of championship weekend during the Little League World Series every year.
