NICHOLSON TOWNSHIP, WYOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A crash involving a UTV and a truck left a woman dead in Wyoming County.
According to the police report, the crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday on State Route 1014 in Nicholson Township.

Police say the truck and UTV were both traveling east when the UTV slowed and made a hand motion that the truck driver perceived as a motion to pass. The truck attempted to pass the UTV as it made a left turn, causing them to collide.
The driver of the UTV was ejected from the vehicle in the crash and died from her injuries, according to police.
The UTV driver was identified as 61-year-old Deborah Higgins of Nicholson.
The police investigation revealed Higgins was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and no doors were present on the UTV.
