PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pittston Tomato Festival is winding down on Sunday after celebrating a time-honored tradition. The Little Miss and Mister Tomato Pageant returned for another year on Sunday.
The 42nd annual contest brought dozens of kids, dressed in their festival best, to the stage.
Free children’s festival draws massive crowd in Luzerne County
20 girls and 15 boys, all between two and six years old, answered questions from a judge and showed off their bright personalities.
This year's Little Miss and Mister Tomato went to the kids Beckham Yates and McKenzie Malloy.
