WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Owners of Adelina's say, while they still have some rebuilding to do, for now, they're back open at a new location, and excited to be serving the community again.
Adelina's restaurant has been a staple of Mountain Top for years, and after that fire in May, many in the community were devastated.
The Owners say that without the support they've received from that community, none of this would have been possible.
Out of the ashes and onto something new, this is the first time in more than three months that fans of Adelina's restaurant could grab a bite to eat from their favorite spot.
It's safe to say they are thrilled to be back, even if it's at a new location inside Genetti's Best Western Hotel in Downtown Wilkes-Barre.
"They've made strides, they're getting back to it, and they're just- it's good food, reliable food, good drinks, good people!" Mountain Top resident Larry Schlude said.
For one lucky guest, the timing of the restaurant's re-opening couldn't have been better.
"I love the Adelina's pizza, it's my favorite thing to get here, and I was so sad when I heard the news of when it burned down, so I was super excited that I got to come back for my birthday," 12-year-old Jacob Vandermark from Mountain Top explained.

Adelina's has been part of Mountain Top's food scene for years, but after a fire tore through the building in May, they were forced to close their doors.
Now, they're in the process of rebuilding and have a second location to hold over their hungry guests.
Guests, the owners say, have played a crucial part in their quick comeback.
"Probably our biggest motivator is them asking us to come back, and every time we go to the grocery store, you know, "when are you opening? We can't wait to see you downtown, we miss your food, we have to actually cook now," Adelina's Restaurant Co-Owner and Operator Lisa Cummings told 28/22 News.
The road to recovery hasn't been easy, and the new location may take some getting used to for the regulars, but the owners of Adelina's hope the city of Wilkes-Barre will be as welcoming and enjoy their food as much as those up on the mountain.
"We're extremely, extremely grateful for everybody. We've pretty much kept in touch with a lot of our customers and kept them posted on all the steps along the way, and they've been cheering us on the entire time. So they're really, really wonderful people. A lot of great people out there," Cummings added.
Owners of Adelina's say they're not sure if this Wilkes-Barre location will be permanent, but they are hoping to be back open in Mountain Top in six to eight months.
