LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — PennDOT stated that there will be rolling roadblocks on Interstate 81 northbound in Luzerne County starting Thursday, August 28.
PennDOT says the roadblocks will be located between Exit 151 (Route 80 Junction) and Exit 155 (Dorrance), beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday and continuing until 6:00 a.m. on Friday.

"The roadblocks are required to allow new beams to be moved into position for the bridge replacement project near the Dorrance exit. Motorists should watch for slowed or stopped traffic through the construction zone," stated officials with PennDOT.
PennDOT noted that the northbound Roadside Rest at mile-marker 156 will be closed to trucks on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. to stage the bridge beams.
