LEHMAN TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Luzerne County boy was honored Wednesday after saving a man's life at the Luzerne County fair last Tuesday.
Board President of the Luzerne County Fair Alan Pugh collapsed to the ground in a life-threatening emergency.
10-year-old Ben Hineline was in the right place at the right time and sprang into action.

Ben's parents told 28/22 News that he has always had a big personality, but even a bigger heart and can think on his feet.
Ben asked Mr. Pugh if he was okay. Pugh responded no, so Ben quickly found help.
Pugh is the husband of Brenda Pugh, the state representative of the 120th district.
He was sent a citation yesterday from Representative Pugh's office thanking him for his courage and quick action during a stressful time.
Ben is an active member of 4-H, and is showing his horse Thursday night at the Luzerne County Fair.
He says he's just happy that Mr. Pugh is still here with us.
"Because I saved him and we don't need to lose somebody who is important to our lives," Ben said.
"There are no words. He's still here," Representative Pugh told 28/22 News. "He's still a husband, father, grandfather, and uncle and still gets to enjoy the family and life."
