One dead after rollover crash on Casey Highway

CARBONDALE TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A Lackawanna County man is dead after a fatal rollover crash Thursday afternoon, according to the Lackawanna County Coroner.

Coroner Tim Rowland says that a 35-year-old Carbondale man succumbed to his injuries after a fatal rollover crash in which he was ejected around 5:30 p.m.

The crash occurred near the Meredith Street exit ramp along the Casey Highway near mile marker 12, according to officials.

Man identified after drowning in Delaware Water Gap

The driver died shortly after his arrival at Geisinger Community Medical Center.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

The identity of the man is being withheld at this time.

The man also had a white Pitbull puppy named Storm who is missing, according to the release.

Officials say the dog was traveling with him, but was last seen on an embankment near the Meredith Street off ramp
