SALEM TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two people were injured and flown to a hospital after a propane tank exploded Monday afternoon.
On Monday, the Salem Township Fire Department posted on Facebook information on the incident.
Authorities say they were called around 2:00 p.m. to the 100 block of Main Street in the Beach Haven section of the Township for a fire after a propane explosion.

Crews explain that two were injured in the blaze and were flown to a nearby hospital for reported burn injuries.
It took crews about an hour to douse the flames, officials say.
The condition of the two people injured in the incident is unknown at this time.
