WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Officials say a portion of a Wilkes-Barre street will be closed off later this week as crews work on a water line.
On Monday, Wilkes-Barre City announced East Northhampton Street between South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and South Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed to all traffic on Wednesday, September 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
PennDOT announces delays on I-81, I-380, and more
The closure is for Pennsylvania American Water's water line installation, according to authorities.
Drivers are advised by officials to avoid the area as crews work.
