HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A crash involving three cars may lead to a driver facing DUI charges.
On September 10, around 2:30 a.m., officers were called to a crash in the 500 block of West Maple Street in Hazleton.
Police stated an Infiniti was traveling on Maple Street, drove onto the sidewalk, knocked over a "no parking" sign, then struck two parked cars and the side of a house. The Infiniti then got pinned between one of the cars and the house.
Five arrested, drug-dealing operation shut down
Officers on scene talked with the driver of the Infiniti, who they say "exhibited multiple signs of intoxication." The driver was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Charges are pending the results of the blood tests.
