WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Luzerne County man has been charged with multiple counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.
65-year-old Jeffery Berlew of Wilkes-Barre has been charged with 51 counts of sexual abuse of children and criminal use of a communication facility, according to the press release.
Officials say investigators found that Berlew was uploading child sex abuse materials to Microsoft Bing and served a search warrant at his home.
Woman sentenced up to 15 years in prison for sexual assault
Berlew's bail is set at $100,000, and he is prohibited from having contact with minors or accessing the internet.
The Office of the Attorney General's Child Predator Section is prosecuting the case.
