Chief Hilliard explained the driver looked down to see what it was and went off the northbound berm, corrected his steering, then crossed into the southbound lane and cut back into the northbound lane, causing the bus to flip over.

Everyone was able to get out of the bus, and the more serious injuries were treated on the bus while others were moved to a triage area.

Seven people went to the hospital, including the bus driver.

The crash is still under investigation. Chief Hilliard said no word on charges at this time.
