HUNLOCK CREEK, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — It definitely still feels like summer, but another local event on Saturday had another season in mind. Folks celebrated the coming season on Saturday in Luzerne County by taking part in a Fall Craft Fair.
Dozens of vendors set up shop at the Garden Drive-In. They displayed all sorts of seasonal items, including Halloween-themed artwork.
Organizers could not have picked a better day for the event, which brought out many vendors, including some first-timers.
One vendor revealed her inspiration behind crafting seashells.

"Just being on the beach all the time. I just love the ocean, and I don't even know what made me stop," Dupont Artist and Vendor Darlene Glodzik told 28/22 News.
"I just want people to have, have artwork and have it in their homes, and I believe you put a certain type of energy into the work that when people look at it, they can feel it," First-Time Shickshinny Vendor Andrea Recene said.
This Fall Craft Fair is the latest event this year at the Garden Drive-In, besides outdoor movies.
Other happenings included a Summerween Vendor Market last month and a Spring Craft Fair last April.
