CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The two people killed in a helicopter crash near Jim Thorpe on Thursday have been identified.
The pilot, 52-year-old Jeffrey Patmore of Terrace, British Columbia and the lineman, 40-year-old Michael Higgins of Haddon Township, New Jersey both died in the crash, according to the Carbon County Coroner.
Debris flown into bus drivers window causes rollover, sending 7 to hospital
The victims' autopsies will be completed on Saturday. The coroner will release the official cause and manner of death upon official autopsy findings.
The cause of the crash is still unknown at this time.
