DEER LAKE BOROUGH, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) say a man is dead after he was killed while checking under the hood of a car in Schuylkill County.
In a release, PSP explains that it happened around 4:00 p.m. on Sunday on Route 61 in Deer Lake.
State police say 58-year-old Eduardo Barcenas-Moncada of Shenandoah was outside of the car when a pickup truck slammed into the car.
Traffic flows again on Interstate 81 N after multi-vehicle crash
Troopers added that the impact struck Barcena-Moncada, who became airborne and was killed.
A passenger in the victim's car was seriously injured. The other driver suffered minor injuries, according to PSP.
