Roadblocks cause delays on I-81, I-380, and more

(WBRE/WYOU) — Road work continues to cause delays as major Pennsylvania roads are worked on.

The following roads are scheduled to have closures or rolling roadblocks:

Two dead, one in hospital after Hazleton shooting

Interstate 81 north and southbound between Exit 178 (Wilkes Barre/Scranton International Airport) and Exit 185 (President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Expressway) on Monday, September 15, through Thursday, September 18, between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. daily to perform shoulder cutting.

Interstate 380 southbound between Exit 13 (Gouldsboro) and Exit 20 (Daleville/Moscow) on Monday, September 8 through September 16, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily to perform bridge deck repairs.

Route 6 between Exit 1 (Marshwood Road/Mount Cobb/Throop) and Exit 2 (Olyphant) on Monday, September 8, to Friday, September 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., to perform brushing.

PennDOT encourages drivers to take alternate routes when possible to avoid delays.
