(WBRE/WYOU) — An unauthorized social post made on a Wyoming Valley West employee account regarding "sensitive political commentary" is under police investigation.
Wyoming Valley West School District stated on Sunday that a social media account belonging to one of its employees was compromised. School officials say on the employee's account, an unauthorized post containing "sensitive political commentary" was shared.
School district says worker’s social media compromised
On Monday, the Wyoming Valley West Superintendent, Dr. Charles Suppon Jr., said the following regarding the incident:
"The post and details surrounding it are currently under investigation by law enforcement. Due to it currently being investigated, the district cannot comment at this time.
