GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Firefighters were battling a house fire in a Lackawanna County community Tuesday evening.
Lackawanna County officials told 28/22 News crews were called to the 100 block of Sandy Banks Road shortly before 9:00 p.m. for a reported second-alarm structure fire.
Fire department gets new HVAC system from Mitsubishi
When crews arrived on scene, authorities say it was determined to be a house fire, and the Greenfield Township Fire Department led the response.
The scene is still active, and there is no word at this time on whether anyone was injured or the severity of the blaze.
