Counterfeit cash discovered at Mohegan Pennsylvania

PLAINS TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police are investigating after a counterfeit bill was found at Mohegan Pennsylvania.

Police say a 71-year-old man of Plains found a bill sitting on a machine with no one around. The man then went to get the bill exchanged because it had a rip on it.

Casino officials then noticed that the bill was fake because it read "for motion picture purposes" on it, PSP reported.

The bill was taken into custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
