PA AG leads raid in Luzerne County warehouse

JENKINS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A developing story coming out of Luzerne County Wednesday afternoon: law enforcement is raiding a warehouse operation. The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office is leading that raid.

The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office confirms they are conducting the raid at the facility located on Centerpoint Boulevard in Jenkins Township, inside the CenterPoint Pittston Industrial Park.

The state Attorney General's Office is in charge of the investigation.

Video taken from inside a 28/22 News car as I-Team Reporter Andy Mehalshick arrived on scene shows agents from the Attorney General's Office standing near a warehouse door.

The Luzerne County District Attorney's mobile crime lab could also be seen in the video.

Mehalshick saw District Attorney Sam Sanguedolce on scene, who told 28/22 News the Attorney General's Office requested their assistance.

The name of the company on the front door of the warehouse is Ohm Distributors LLC.

28/22 News reached out to the company and left a voice message seeking comment, and has not heard back at this time.

According to a Pennsylvania State Tobacco Licensing website, the company is licensed to sell tobacco and tobacco-related items.

A spokesman for the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office sent 28/22 News the following statement:

All I can say at this point is this is an ongoing investigation and there is no danger to the public.
