WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man was arrested after allegedly attacking another man with an aluminum baseball bat on Wednesday.
Officers were dispatched to a home on South Franklin Street in Wilkes-Barre around 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the release.
The victim told police he had gotten into a verbal argument with 33-year-old Alijah Grier-Wright of Wilkes-Barre.
Luzerne County man sentenced for drug conspiracy
The victim said Grier-Wright then retrieved a bat and struck him several times with it.
Grier-Wright was found by police in the area of West South and South Franklin Streets. Officers say he was detained without incident and was processed and arraigned.
