PINE TOWNSHIP, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are investigating a death in Columbia County.
Troopers from PSP Bloomsburg were dispatched to a home in Pine Township around 7:30 a.m. for a report of an unresponsive male, according to the media release. Officers reportedly discovered a deceased 17-year-old male in the home.

Troopers say the incident appears to be isolated and there is no immediate threat to the public.
The incident is under investigation by the Troop N Major Case Team in conjunction with the Columbia County District Attorney's Office.
The investigation is ongoing and additional details are not available at this time.
