LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police announced a search in Luzerne County for a man accused of sexually assaulting a child has come to an end.
State police say Sweet Valley resident, 40-year-old Ryan McDermott, was arrested in Lake Township, Luzerne County.
Scranton mass gives people place to grieve suicide loss
Authorities explained they began the search for McDermott on Friday after discovering computer images of child sex acts from his home. They also recovered numerous explosive devices and guns.
McDermott was arraigned and denied bail. He remains in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
