SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Lackawanna County defense attorney has officially been disbarred following charges of providing legal services in exchange for sexual acts.
51-year-old Corey Kolcharno pleaded guilty to four felony counts of promoting prostitution in 2023.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania announced that Kolcharno was officially disbarred, retroactive to August 2022.
According to court documents from 2023, Kolcharno surrendered his law license as part of his plea agreement.
Kolcharno was sentenced to an aggregate sentence of 4 to 23 months of incarceration in 2024.
