ROSS TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A house in Monroe County was destroyed after a fire Friday morning.
According to David Pall, Assistant Fire Chief of the Sweet Valley Fire Company, a call for a residential structure fire in Ross Township was received around 6:45 a.m. He said the house was fully involved as crews arrived.

Officials say no one lived in the house, as it was under renovation. No injuries were reported.
Crews called the house a total loss.
Sweet Valley, Hunlock Creek, Lake Silkworth, Huntington Township, Fairmount Township, Mocanaqua, Shaffertown, Idetown, Sweet Valley, and Shickshinny Ambulance, Back Mountain Regional Fire all responded to the call.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal.
