WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Murder victims were honored Friday in Lycoming County.
An event was held at Brandon Park in Williamsport for anyone impacted by violent loss.
Families, friends, survivors, and supporters filled the park.
Friday's event was held by the group "Angel Families Unite."

Candles were lit to honor loved ones lost, and the names of homicide victims were read.
Those attending want loved ones left behind to know they are not alone.
"Everyone who is here tonight is here because loved ones are being taken by homicide, so my main thing is for them to know they are not alone, and there are people in this journey with them. Unfortunately, we have all become a big family," expressed Nichol Sites, Williamsport.
Congress named September 25 a national day of remembrance for murder victims back in 2007.
