SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Driven to Duty Car Show brought out hundreds of car enthusiasts to Toyota of Scranton.
Every kind of car, from classics and muscle cars to tuner cars and historic race cars, was on display and glistening in the sun.
The event benefits two causes: the local non-profit, Fight4Vets, and the NEPA Armed Forces Day Parade is held each May.
It raised $12,000 last year, which was split between both groups.

"I was in the National Guard locally out of Scranton for nine years. Did one tour in Iraq in '04 and '05, and I still want to just be around the community, be able to help our brothers and sisters through charities like this," NEPA Street Scene Co-Founder Joseph Diehl said.
"It is wonderful. You don't see very many like this that help support the veterans around at all. Very few," Army Reserve Vet event Participant Bill Newhart told 28/22 News.
Organizers expected to surpass last year's fundraising today at the Driven to Duty Car Show in Scranton.
