FRANKLIN COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— New information on Thursday on the two state troopers shot in Franklin County.
The troopers have been identified as 23-year-old Thomas Pack and Northumberland County native 31-year-old Lucas Amarose. Amarose was from the Mount Caramel Area.
Both were shot multiple times on I-81.
Investigators say three people from Baltimore stole a thousand dollars' worth of clothing from Dick's Sporting Goods near Chambersburg.

A man and two women took off, but troopers stopped them on I-81 when the 31-year-old suspect opened fire.
The gunman was killed.
Trooper Pack has been released from the hospital, and Trooper Amarose remains hospitalized in serious condition.
"I can tell you that last night I spoke to both of them; they were conscious and in very good spirits, and I can't say enough about how they performed in this incident, but also how our fellow troopers and law enforcement performed. It's with a great sense of pride that I say that, and it's with a great sense of thankfulness that we are not here planning two line-of-duty funerals," stated Col. Christopher Paris.
Trooper Thomas Pack graduated from cadet training just last December, and Trooper Amarose graduated from the police academy in 2017 and played football at Wilkes University.
