SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A guilty verdict was issued for a Scranton man convicted of raping an intellectually disabled woman. A jury needed just 90 minutes to convict Mario Valentine following a four-day trial. The victim, an 18-year-old woman, was assaulted in 2024. Valentine faces up to 35 years in prison.
