For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 110. For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 104 expected.

A portion of central Pennsylvania.

For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM EDT this evening. For the Heat Advisory, from 8 PM this evening to 8 PM EDT Saturday.
IMPACTS:
Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
Recommended Actions:
Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an air-conditioned room.
